Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl

This lipstick is easily my favorite lipstick of all time. The formula is matte but so comfortable and not drying. In the fall, I gravitate towards deep berry shades because I like how it compliments but blue eyes and lighter skin. In the photo above, I was wearing the lipstick. I like to apply is lightly so it gives my lips a healthy, bitten look.

Kat Von D Sinner Perfume

I love Kat Von D’s Saint and Sinner perfume collection. I purchased her Saint perfume for the spring/summer because it is a lighter, sweeter scent. September I started wearing my deep, spicy fragrances and this one is one of my favorites. As we all know, it’s difficult to find cruelty free perfumes, and Sinner from Kat Von D is a gem!

I found out about this product through my mom who had been recommended it by her hairdresser. I was pleasantly surprised to find that their brand is cruelty free because many products at hair salons are not. You spray a few mists onto your damp, washed hair and then dry and style. My hair get’s extremely frizzy throughout every season, so an anti-frizz product is a must for me. I really noticed a difference with my hair. It was so shiny and after I blow dried, I didn’t have a lot of those broken hairs sticking up like I usually do.

Colourpop Supershock Shadows in Brady and Muse

This shadow combination has been a go-to look if I need to pop on something quick for work. I start with putting Brady in my crease and then add Muse all over my lid. You don’t even need brushes for this look since they are Colourpop’s creamy, Supershock formula. I love the Supershock shadows because not only are they pigmented and easy to use, they are so convenient for my busy life.

The Body Shop Banana Body Yogurt

This has been my go-to body moisturizer for Summer especially in August. The consistency of this is so cool. It literally looks like yogurt. It’s a gel based lotion that goes on so smooth and dries almost instantly. Lotions that dry fast are a must for me. I hate the feeling of lotion on my skin especially when I need to get dressed after applying. This is so light-weight and sinks into your skin fast. The smell is incredible as well. It smells just like banana pudding and the smell lasts on your skin for hours. When I apply it at night, I can still smell it the next morning. Personally, I like that.

Colourpop Crème Lux Lipstick in the shade Lay Over

I love the Colourpop Luxe Lips formula and Lay Over has been my staple nude for Summer. Since I am pretty tan, I gravitate towards darker nudes. The formula is very unique. It’s almost feels like a creamy powder and it lasts on my lips for a while. At first I wasn’t keen on the formula, but the more I wore it, the more I realized it’s actually very cool.

Juice Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer

This August I decided to revisit an oldie but a goodie. I discovered Juice Beauty about a year ago and this moisturizer was my holy grail. I hadn’t used it in a while because my acne had cleared up. My acne started coming back at the end of July into August so I decided to try this again. This moisturizer is apart of their blemish clearing range and it definitely works. A little goes a long way because it is a rather thick formula. I love that this hydrates my skin and also treats my acne. Definitely a great clean, organic skincare option for fighting acne.

I got this blush towards the end of August but it quickly became my favorite blush of all time. When Too Faced announced their Tutti Frutti collection, I was at first hesitant because Too Faced had been launching products left and right. I thought to myself, uhh another fruit collection. Their peach products were a huge hit but it seemed like people were getting tired of them. There was something about the Tutti Frutti collection that drew me in. I knew I had to try one of the blushes. I opted for the cherry blush because I thought it would transfer well into the autumn season. This blush is incredible. It gives your cheeks are beautiful cherry wine flush and the shimmer side acts as a highlighter that melts perfectly into the blush. I highly recommend these.

It feels good to know that what I am putting on my face is made with natural ingredients. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, so most of the time, fragrances and harsh chemicals bother me. I am always looking for great, clean beauty brands and here’s a few i’m interested in trying.

RMS beauty is well known among clean, cruelty free beauty lovers. I can’t believe I have never tried anything from them. Their cream eyeshadows are a star product. Those are number one on my wish list.

Raww Cosmetics is an Austrian beauty brand that has both clean makeup and skincare products. I first came across them on instagram and was immediately intrigued. What I love most is that their products are made with superfoods such as kale, ginseng root, avocado oil, green tea, manuka honey and many more. I can only imagine how amazing these products smell and the fragrance is all natural.

I heard about Thrive Causemetics from beauty influencers such as Kathleenlights and Allie Glines. They both raved about their Sun Chaser bronzers. Thrive is unique in the sense that for every product that is sold, a product is donated to a woman in need. Not only is this brand formulated without parabens and sulfates, it also gives back to women. I am always on board with that.

100percentpure is another well known brand in the clean, cruelty free beauty community. If you go to their website and read their about section, they go into in depth detail about how they have define “natural” and the difference between natural and synthetic ingredients. It’s very fascinating. I want to try their cocoa infused bronzer and their mascara that is infused with berries. Now doesn’t that sound like a delicious treat for your face?

I have struggled with my hair ever since a few years ago when I noticed it starting to get very thin. There were factors in my life that I believe may have led to this and now it’s an everyday battle to figure out how to get my hair looking healthier and thicker. Although I can’t actually make my hair grow thicker, there are products I use that help make it look shinier and healthier. Here are some of my favorites that help my thin, dry, damaged hair.

Juice Organics Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner

I am really into natural hair care and after receiving a sample of this shampoo and conditioner from Ulta, I fell in love. This helps give my hair volume and thickness without looking dry. I also feel great putting it in my hair because if you look at the bottle, there are so many bad things they don’t use.

Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Superfoods Hair Pack

Let me start off by saying, “how cute are these?!” They were made to look like green juices. Please don’t drink haha. I heard about these from beauty Youtuber, Allie Glines and she raved about them. When I heard that they were formulated with super foods like apple, kale, matcha and spinach, I was super intrigued and wanted to try. These smell just like apple, it’s delicious. What I also love, is that the shampoo lathers so well. I have never tried a shampoo without sulfates that lathered. This gives you a full soapy lather which I like, because I feel like my hair is actually getting clean. This leaves my hair feeling super soft and it blow dries so shiny.

Since I have thin hair, after I wash it, I have to blow dry it. If I let it air dry, it gets super thin feeling and oily the next day. Before I blow dry, I love to take a smoothing cream and run it through my hair. You only need a pea size. This helps control frizz after a blow dry and leaves my hair shiny.

OUAI Treatment Masque

This is my favorite leave-in-conditioner of all time. First off, I am obsessed with the scent. The smell lasts in my hair until the next day which is incredible. It’s hard to describe the scent because its not a fruity or floral scent, it’s just some sort of perfume scent. I use this in the shower after I shampoo my hair. You are supposed to leave it in for 10 minutes and then rinse out, but sometimes I can’t wait that long if I’m taking a shower. Even if I leave it in for five minutes, I notice a difference. My hair looks like I got it professionally blow dried. Seriously, this product is a gem!

Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream

I started using Oribe a few years ago when a salon I went go to used Oribe products on their clients. I absolutely love Oribe hair care. This is the most expensive product I’ve mentioned, but it’s worth it. This is another product like the Briogeo Rosarco, that you apply to your hair damp right before a blow dry. The cream is white with shimmer in it, which is supposed to help give shine to your hair. I definitely notice after I dry my hair, that it’s softer, shiner and not frizzy.
