Holiday Makeup Guide

The best part about the holidays is going to parties and spending time with family and friends. I love dressing up and having fun with my makeup. Here’s some go-to makeup looks for your next holiday party that are sure to make you stand out.

Sequins, rhinestones, anything that will shine on your eyes. I love these star sequins, definitely festive. Be sure to use glitter glue when applying and place down with tweezers for easy and precise application.

Cherry on top
Pair a sleek, cat eye wing with a matte, deep cherry lip for a sophisticated look. I love how the matte lip isn’t perfect, it is smudged a bit with a highlight on her cupids bow. Flush your cheeks lightly with blush and fill in your brows. So chic.

Smoke show
You can never go wrong with a smokey eye especially for a party. Intensify the look by tight lining your water line with black liner and pair with a nude lip. Don’t forget to highlight the inner corner of your eyes with a pearl shadow.

If you are really adventurous with your makeup, go for a bold wing. To achieve this look, use a metallic gel liner and a liner brush to outline the shape of the wing. Then fill in using the same gel liner and a larger flat shadow brush. You can then add powder shadow on top to highlight the center of your lid.

Liquid gold
Metallic lips are in, but it’s hard to rock it everyday. Holiday parties are the perfect time to chrome your lips. I recommend checking out Colourpop. They make beautiful and affordable metallic liquid lipsticks.

Which look are you going to rock?
